The Dancers' Insight
|
'Dance Impressions gave me a strong foundation of technique and knowledge to prepare me for an upcoming career in the Professional Dance world. With a fun and challenging atmosphere, the studio has all of the ingredients necessary to create a great dancer!'
~Jodi Schommer, ECD PreProfessional Dance Company
'I love moving! Dance Impressions was a most significant part of my journey (through adolescence) that allowed me to develop my personality, my individuality, and my character. At first, I strictly followed Miss Ryan's instruction, but as I got older, Miss Ryan encouraged us all to add ourselves into the movement. What started as a discipline transformed into freedom. I used to think dance was something to do; now through Dance Impressions, Iv'e learned that dance is something to feel, to live...or be.
DO NOT think that because we are situated in a small town you have to settle for small town dancing - Dance Impressions in Vermilion is saturated with opportunity for BIG things. Certificates mean nothing unless there is ingenuity and passion behind them...and Dance Impressions has it all!!'
~Allison Farkash, Abbotsford, B.C. (DI dancer from 1999 - 2007)

Our Parent Recognition
|
‘Having two girls in dance (tap, jazz, ballet & lyrical) for the last 12 years at respected schools in Edmonton, St. Albert, Lloydminster and Vermilion, we can say without question that the highest quality instruction with the most reasonable fees and a family-like atmosphere was at Dance Impressions by Ryan.
Ryan is professional, abundantly qualified, and a great instructor & role model for our children. The classes are disciplined yet our daughters adored “Miss Ryan” and left each lesson with a feeling of acceptance and accomplishment.
Vermilion and area residents are very fortunate to have such a high quality studio in their community.’
~Rob & Helga Rubuliak, St. Albert, AB
Dance Impressions has taught our children how to succeed through hard work, discipline and teamwork.
We have been very pleased to watch our kids grow as individuals and as dancers.
Thanks Ryan, we will miss you!!

Thank You Miss Ryan
|
Miss Ryan,
The parents and dancers would like to say thank you for a great year! Thank you for being encouraging, enthusiastic and positive while teaching our children about dance, and about life. I think that each dancer on stage knows the feeling of working hard towards a goal. They also know to expect greatness from themselves. A lot of this has to do with your continuous encouragement to improve, to always grow and learn more, and your high expectations of yourself and of each dancer.
Sometimes we are so busy being busy that your efforts, dedication and commitment to our children go unacknowledged. Your careful consideration of the specific details involved in each dancers’ life is very much appreciated.
Yeah, I know, sometimes we are busy moaning about which props we have and figuring out how to make the chosen hats or boots work on our kids, but your keen attention to detail helps our children to thrive. In most situations, adjudications review what you are already teaching and re-enforce the great work you do in the studio. Your ability to meet the needs of each child to have them thrive and also having each group be successful amazes us as parents.
One of the biggest compliments that our children can give is wanting to be like their hero. There is probably a time in each dancers’ experience where they’ve thought or said “I want to be like Miss Ryan” or “Mom, what would Miss Ryan say??” Thanks for being a positive role model for so many children. Thank you for being a real hero to them.
Thank you for being a positive force in our lives!!
